About YHL Foods

Founded in 2018, YHL Foods Sdn Bhd (“YHL”) is a Southeast Asian aquaculture and biotechnology group driving sustainable seafood production through science, innovation, and environmental stewardship. Operating Malaysia’s first fully integrated gene-to-supply-chain aquaculture platform, YHL spans genetics, hatchery, farming, processing, and distribution.

With operations across Malaysia and Thailand — including a 604.9-acre integrated shrimp and oyster farm in Desaru — YHL is recognised for pioneering Malaysia’s first Shrimp Genetic Nucleus Centre and large-scale Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) system.

Founded and led by Mr. Low Yuan Heng, YHL is committed to strengthening food security, reducing reliance on wild-caught seafood, and building a more sustainable future for the ocean.
